2.7.8 Changing Lenses

As described in section 2.7.5,

M14 Fixed Lenses

the M22M can be fitted with several MOBOTIX

lenses. Proceed as follows to change a lens:

• Unmount the lens cover by turning it

counter-clockwise.

• Loosen the lens' lock ring (if fitted) by turn-

ing it counter-clockwise.

• Remove the lens with the lock ring by turn-

ing it counter-clockwise.

• Unscrew the lock ring (if present) from the

lens you just removed and screw it onto

the new lens.

• Screw the new lens with the lock ring (if present) back into the camera.

• If necessary, restore the power supply of the camera.

• Adjust the image sharpness according to the camera's live image on the

computer monitor.

• Tighten the lock ring by turning it in clockwise direction.

This procedure is the same for the M22M-Secure-CSVario and CS/C mount

lenses, albeit without the lock ring (not installed).
